Comments: anyone have any contact information on meads cottages ? cant seem to find anything on google...vacationed there as a child..would love to return..
Admin reply: Sorry, but I believe that Mead's Cottages have sold their rentals to private owners, and are no longer in the rental business. There are very few rentals currently available on the lake. I suggest that you contact a real estate agent in the Chestertown area for assistance.

Comments: Hi Brant Lake Association! We have been wanting to join BLA and paticipate in local milfoil concerns to help protect our lake. After looking at your website, we are thrilled to join. Our vacation home is by the boat launch, and we enjoy canoeing and sailing and fishing in Brant Lake with our kids. Brant Lake is a treasure!!!

Comments: I've been visiting Brant Lake my entire life. My father was born in a farmhouse on Palisades Road, so I spent much of my childhood visiting my grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins at the lake! Almost everyone is gone now, but we still try to visit almost every year - it will always be my second "home". Hoping to make it up there this year with my two toddlers!
Love your website and the work you are doing!!! I was excited to see my great grandfather's name listed as a charter member of the Association (Smith Persons).

Comments: I am the youngest daughter of the late Earl Persons and Blanche (Meade) Persons. I left New York State in 1983 but have taken regular vacations back "home" over the years. God bless all of you for preserving this beautiful place.
